The World Series of Poker has been a long standing series of poker tournaments, often held annually, in Las Vegas and, more recently, sponsored by Caesars Entertainment Group. There are several main championship tournaments and a lot of smaller regional tournaments throughout the year. There is also the World Series of Poker super-tournament, which will feature the top players from all over the world in one shot to determine who is the World Series of Poker player of the year. It is an interesting phenomenon that something so simple attracts big names to play.

Each of the regional wsop main events have a different theme. The champion at each event receives a donated prize pool. The size of the prize pool depends on the size of the tournament and the size of the player fields. Usually, the larger the tournament, the larger the prize pool.

One of the most popular themes is the “ouse” or the Hold’em Super- FINAL table. This tournament is an interesting mix of a traditional Hold’em game and the World Series of Poker. The main tournament winner earns the most money at the final table. In this tournament, no player may sit at the same table as the final table player. This can cause some tension as some players want to stay at the final table and try to win the big cash, while others would prefer to switch tables to a lower stakes game and try their luck at a higher final table.

Jimmy Snyder is the current World Series of Poker champion. He is the fifth player to earn the title. In addition to winning the World Series of Poker main event, Jimmy Snyder is also the only four-time World Series of Poker champion. He holds a career record of 9-3 with a final table record of 4-2.
