These groups believe that the United States should not interfere with states’ rights and individual rights of individuals to wager online for profit.

Others like Tennessee, Georgia, Ohio and Connecticut are against the regulation of sports betting. Similarly, many state representatives and members of Congress are in favor of legalizing online casino gambling. One provision that will make online gambling legal in the United States is the provision for a sunset clause. This will ensure that the existing laws of the states on gambling cannot be changed for ten years from the date of implementation.
